MY SPACE
Please give me some space. I am sitting in this deserted room for ages. I don’t even know exactly for how much time I have been sitting here. Wait, am I sitting here? No, I am just standing here. There was a table here when I came here and now that is also getting eaten up by these small creatures. I can’t sit on it as it is very dusty also. But I am not feeling lonely here as there is a portrait of an old man on the front wall. He is in his 80s and staring rightly into my eyes. I am not scared of his eyes. How can I feel scared when I don’t have anything to loose. This old man has a wrinkled skin. His face is full of lines and he has a very lean body. Still his eyes are twinkling like the bright stars in the night. I am still not scared of him. I just want to sit in this room and that should not affect the peace of this gentleman. Now I saw the whole room keeping in mind the stare of the gentleman. This room is neither clean nor dirty and there is a strange smell that is going down my chest as if it belongs to me or my soul. The space I am in search of is still no where although there is nothing there in the room except the old table and the portrait. I took some dust in my hand. That didn’t give me a feeling of my hands being dirty. I like the smell it is causing and the way it sticks to my hand. I took two steps forward towards the portrait of gentleman. Carefully I tried to rub out some dust. This dust is same as the dust in the room with some different smell. Is it because the gentleman is staring at me or because the room was older than the portrait? The Gentleman is still staring at me. Now this staring is attracting me. I hope that this portrait was made by a fine artist who didn’t put his own imagination to mingle the emotion of himself and this gentleman. Now even if I remove the portrait I wouldn’t get a suitable space for me. Actually I need a space to sit calmly. The space that can embrace me in its arms. I don’t want to go out in this cold world. I don’t want to feel the same shivering. I don’t want to leave this room how so ever dirty it is. I am wondering about the space it has already provided me but I want more from it. Now the gentleman is looking at me in a different manner from this corner. It is not the same staring eyes but some sadness is there. Looks like the gentleman is still searching for someone. The person he loved more than his life but there is no one. Why his eyes are still searching for that person.? Did that person ever take care about the way he is looking or he totally ignored him? Now I am feeling towards the gentleman. I know that he has taken my space but after all this is a gentleman’s portrait. I can’t ignore him being the first one here, perhaps even before the old table arrived here. There is something common in his eyes and mine. He is searching for someone not there and my eyes are trying to make a space that is not possible in that room. Both are keen and trying to light a candle in the storm. Both are tired but still struggling to see through the dark. I am not ready to compromise and he is not ready to give up. Both are fighting the lost battle and still consider them as the gladiators. Dust has played its role and there is no tear in his eyes. Looks like he is keeping a promise to be kept. He is not ready to give me space and I will fight till the last breath. One room, one table, one portrait and me. And everyone is fighting for the space. Is this the materialistic world or this is called life. They say life is like a journey. But all of us are stuck in this closed room. No window, no door and no space. Why is this fight what for ? only for the space …or for the Table’s space …or for the dusty space ….or for his space ..or for everyone’s space …everyone is screaming ….shouting without any sound . It is like a silent prayer. But who is going to listen to a table ? or a portrait ? or me ? ..I just want my space ……GIVE ME SPACE ….MY SPACE ……..

One more time it has happened and that too in a span of two weeks time. Again we people were made to feel that we are still living in Third world. When Gibbs does this, it is understandable at a point that his intentions were invoked by the sudden sparkle of the human emotions but when the English actors’ comments slur Shilpa Shetty it totally reflects the common mentality of “whites”. How would they feel if someone from Asia calls them White Pig or Old White Monkey in front of TV camera.
Some people are saying that this is an over reaction as we people must look inside our own nation first then go and face the whole world. But the question arises here - In which part of this world racism is not existing. Even in the most developed nation like USA, blacks are still called niggers. So it can not be said that since we have some conflicts like south versus north, Dalits versus Fair castes or any other thing, we should mould our characters in the clay of bearings. Family matters are the part of every house.
In the present scenario when we talk about the flat world concept and global peace these kinds of incidents reminds the old world, biased towards a particular race. Today when Indira Nooyi is the Pepsi CEO, Muhammad Yunus is winning the Nobel Prize for economics, Boby Jindal is winning elections in US and Chinese economy is becoming the largest one in the world, West must understand that there another world also which can defeat them in any race.

I am too tired now

I know every one knows you as Dark
Even more dark then the look in my eyes
But I am too tired now .
That thread is still of same width
Nothing is improving it anymore
The house is still empty
And I have nothing to decorate
That star is still shinning brightly
But that is not mine
I am too tired of staring at it
I can’t stop the people to go away
Not only to heaven but on earth also
Life looks like a circular prism now
I can only see my own reflection
But why is that smiling on me
When I am trying to console myself
I am too tired now pretending to be
What I never wanted to be
I am too tired of running after all these
Let me sleep in your arms for a while
I want to forget everything now
Cause I am too tired now .

WAQT
Raah mai ek musaafir mila
Baato hi baato mai wo yaar ban gaya
raah kaise kat gayi pata hi nahin chala
agle chaurahe par wo apni aur mai apni raah par chal diya
Kisne kaha ki kismat hamara sath nahin deti
agle hi mod par wo hame muskurata mila
humne bhi garamjoshi mai usse haath milaaya
laga ki ye to kal ki hi baat thi
lekin agla safar abhi aage hai usne yaad dilaaya
phir hum masti mai aage bad chale
usne hamesha ki tarah aadhi raah mai waqt poocha
humne ghadi dekhi to waqt hum par muskura raha tha
mud kar dekha to mera dost ab waha nahin tha .
BEAUTY

My girl says you are not beautiful
but how to measure the beauty?
Is it only the phyical chrams
or the way you think and love
if you ask her she will say
it is the inner beauty that matters for her
then how come it happens
that my girl says you are not beautiful

Washing My Hands
Now I am not on the way ,
That you always wanted me to be .
Fishes are returning back ,
To live without water in the sea.
But still air feels to take ,
Some breath of same smell of wine.
If possible, stop the ice
Melting down at the boiling point.
Well the smoke is turning
Its color from black to blue ,
just take a look into my eyes,
I've got happiness ,thanks to glue.
And what about the taste of the gun powder ,
Put it some more on my tongue.
Why still want to loose the fight,
Merry guy you are still young .
The road is blocked ,
But the view is clear .
I will touch the harbor,
Yes,I am almost there.
My hands are burning,
I can't grip the sand.
I have started a new journey ,
After washing my hands .

Hi all ,
This is my first blog here and i hope that i will update this corner as much as i can .

Yesterday when me and my friends got some sphere time to talk on mail we started discussing on the way which should be adapted in order to show the protest by a common man in our country .This conversation started with present Vadodra riots and reached upto Jessica Lal and Anti-Quota issues .
This conversation started with some pictures of the Vadodara temples that were demolished by the government and that were not covered in the reports of the NDTV .Since these TV reports only shown the demolished Dargah one of my friend was asking why not they show these pictures .Some of us answered him saying that its Indian media that is responsible for such a biased reporting but still showing misleading pictures is not the way to show the protest .In his reply he asked us the way t to d o it as there is no policy for it .
This was his reply
“Ok guys, being the so called literate society what did u do when there were riots in vadodara??? Y did the so called secular media not show these on a equal footing?? I know it all vote politics. So is this quota thing. So isn’t it our responsibility being “ Literate society” to do some thing about this????”

To this someone replied
Right you said that its our duty to clean our society but in a wrong way .If media is doing wrong by showing only one sided reports then the mail you forwarded is showing only the other half of the coin but no one of you is trying to get through the whole picture .if someone is doing wrong then the its not always that the right path is opposite to that path .Indian media is already notorious for saluting only to the rising sun and cooking spicy dishes on the burning issues .Yesterday one forward by vinod (Kalam Speech ) also depicts that indian media (specially electronic) is involved in mudslinging only .
Let be a part of this activity to oppose such things in future and stop the politicians and the press mughals to take advantage of such crisis .They want to make public mad by rage and we follow it .We must follow the way we adapted in Jessica Lal case and anti quota signature movement .In that way we will do justice with the literate society .

To this one response was
The so called literate society can not be influenced by any such traps. There is no mistake in sending such forwards. How many of you had known this before? The media is going wrong and we need to influence them somehow to bring them on the right track.

And for it the answer was
You caught the right line but still you are floating on the surface as it means a way that must not create any malignant situation .SMS and Signature list providing to the president is a way to show protest .If you go through the mail closely you have sent then you will realize how much dangerous stuff it carries with it as there is no sign of attempts to prepare people to oppose any violence due to such kind of government actions ,and also this mail does not provide any solution to this kind of situation .Should we take a message from your mail that since one channel has not shown any picture of the demolished temple we should come to the street .Right says Barath that media is involve only in raising issues of minorities , so if Gujrat govt was doing the demolishment of the dargah then they should be aware of creating a trust inside those people that they are living in democratic India .Why does not same thing happen in Delhi when govt does the same operation there also ?

So this was the conversation of the people who at least gave some thought to the public concerns .Hope we will find a nice way someday
