3 minutes

Screeching noise of the wheels and I woke up. It was a small nap and I was feeling very tired. FM RJ was talking about a new game show; other vehicles were honking from behind. Total chaos on the road and the counter showed 180 at the red signal. The other parallel road was still running. One hand came out of a Mahindra Scorpio and threw one burning stub of cigarette out of the window, on the running road. It was a nice breeze outside the bus and I was wishing for some drops of rains also. And here the radio station started playing “Nothing else matters”. The other person sitting beside me is still in the same world from where I woke up just now. His head was bending towards the front seat and tie hanging like a pendulum. It reminds me of the branches hanging freely from Banyan tree, which was my resort for my summer vacations. Mean while the counter reached 170 and I saw the cigarette butt is still glowing, lying freely on the dark road. Two cars passed by and both went over it. It moved slightly from it position towards the drainage area on the roadside. Two labors were sitting there, their knees folded, back making an arc shape, hands crossed over the knees, eyes on the fly over bridge and talking vaguely. It seems that they were discussing about work left to construct the bridge. See the irony, when they want to finish this work as soon as possible and also want to continue as paid labors. They saw the cigarette butt and smiled. Only they knew if their smile meant for their good luck or they were smiling at the cigarette’s. One of them started to pick up the cigarette. Suddenly one truck arrived and he had to go back. Because it blew wind fast enough, the cigarette butt again moved to the middle of the road in front of a car. The labor moved back cursing the truck driver (might be his luck also).

“So close, no matter how far
couldn’t be much more from the heart”.

And again the cigarette butt was under the open sky. The signal counter was showing 100.

Two small kids in torn clothes were trying to sell the Indian flag to one Honda City driver. The car owner, on the back seat, was talking on his mobile, waving his hand like a perfect ballet dancer and trying to look over the vehicles standing in front of his car. The small kid knocked the window and driver tries to keep straight first and then scolded the kid. The kid was still not intimidated and forced the driver to buy one. The car owner could only see the moving lips of the kid. He patted on the driver’s back and gave him 10 Rs form his wallet full of credit cards. Driver stretched his hand, saw the brand new note, mumbled something and gave it to the kid. The kid asked driver if he can put the flag on the vehicle, driver again looked at the owner and got a nod form him. The kid this time did not even look at the driver and put the stem on the bumper of the car.

“Never opened myself this way
Life is ours, we live it our way
All these words I don't just say”

The kid saw the burning cigarette butt lying there in front of the car and kicked it, as if he was waving the flag on Lal Qila and could not bear a small trash there. Still the cigarette was glowing but dimly. Signal counter was at 30.

Rain drops started falling from the hands of God. Every one was feeling anxious now in the bus. Even my co-passenger was rubbing his eyes and changing his position. People were resting their necks on the seat-head, all the opened books were closed or half closed but the girls were still on their mobile. I stretched out my hand outside the window. Any drop could end the dim light of cigarette stub. I felt to go outside and to give it a shelter. Outside, Bikers were taking all circus kind of turns and moving between cars and buses, people were crossing road in hurry and traffic controller was yelling at full volume. Traffic started moving as the counter showed 10 and cigarette stub was under a danger of being crushed down by any vehicle. My bus also started moving. My eyes were still on the dim orange light saying slowly in my ears again and again

“Trust I seek and I find in you
Every day for us something new
Open mind for a different view
and nothing else matters”

Parallel Universe
This article is totally based on my assumptions and the understanding of the concept of the time and relativity. When we talk about time travel, it seems to be a weird but exotic idea. Lets start our voyage into the sea of darkness to reveal out some light out of it.
Our universe is considered to be the only one in existence right now. We assume that we are the only conscious life in this whole universe and up to one extent we are correct as we haven’t found any life till date even after a long duration of scientific experiments. We have searched for infinite distances but still there is not a single symbol of life anywhere except earth. So I find it difficult to digest the theory that only earth is the planet having those coincidences to give life a chance to grow. Even after billions of years we have seen the evolution of different species. How come its possible that any other planet dint gat a single chance in the billions of years, same as earth.
Here comes the concept of multiple universes. There are multiple universes that are in the existence and which have life like earth. These are similar universes in terms of physical existence but in terms of time these are totally different. These are having different timelines and every timeline defines a different incident. Our universe is just a part of this whole community of universes. So we can take an example of this parallel universe like this. Suppose today some country A got ruined by a storm and after that natural calamity it is unable to come out of it. In other universe this incident might have happened in a different way. That natural calamity might have ruined the other neighboring country B and now A starts prospering because it has got a chance to grow economically. This incident shows that two universe having a totally different scenario for the same incident.
Now we can say this parallel universe theory support the time travel in the past also. We can now move into the universe that has the time quite before the time of our present earth. Since these universes are away from each other for more than the radius of universe (we can call our universe as a circle or eclipse), its not easy to travel from one universe to another. We haven’t crossed our universe, leave alone to travel to another universe. Since we say if we travel with the speed of light, we can travel in the time lines. That’s true as if we can move equal to or more than the speed of light than we can move to some other universe .Although the present theory of relativity says that we can move to the future only. This concept has a limitation as it says that when we move with the speed of light the time passes very slowly for us but the time for the same earth moves very fast. In that manner we can reach in the future. But what is the way to come back as if we keep on moving at a speed of light, we will keep on moving in the future and there is no possibility to come back in the present. Here the parallel universe theory supports the idea of moving back and forth in the time. We can go to one parallel universe and come back to our universe. That particular universe might have a different time from our universe and in that way we can see the past or the future.
Now what happens if I go back to the past and kill some one’s grandfather? This question is the most scaring question for the time travel. Now here is the explanation. If I go to another parallel universe and kill someone’s grandfather, then it’s a new incident in that universe and there they will say that this grandfather was killed by an alien. In the present universe the grandson is still alive as in his universe, he has taken birth. So this problem of changing the events got resolved where we can’t change the present universe depending on the consequences of some other universe. We can say that might be the result of World war II is different in some other universe than to ours.
Whenever we talk about UFOs, we feel like they are coming from some place. This place is nothing but some other parallel universe. They can be our future or they can be our past as who knows in the past time our science was more developed than present day’s. They know how to travel faster than the speed of light. So they can move from one universe to another universe and thus they keep on coming to earth. They never try to interrupt in our daily lives as it might change the future of earth. So they only keep observing.
This theory is still in its nascent age and I am trying to put up as much as I can add. Its helpful in finding various answers to some of the abstruse concepts. But it also puts a lot of questions in front of us and we always try to find out the right most answer. Since our knowledge is our weapon, we wouldn’t sit until we find the exact explanation.

Jane kya Chahe Mann bawra ...

Pal pal ke is sannate mai bhi
Ek ajnabi sa ehsaas choo jata hai,
Door dharatal ki sachchai se
Mann jane kyun yun ghabraata hai ?

Indradhanush ke sab rang hain bikhre
Tab bhi aakash Megha-rahit hai,
Armano ki is barish mai bhi
Mann jane kyun yun chakit hai ?

Pankh laga kar samay hai udta
Kuch lamhe yaad kar aaj dil bhavuk hai,
Tab bhi aakash ko bahon mai samane,
Mann jane kyun yun utsuk hai?

Madhushala ki madakta mai,
Insaan jindagi dhunye(smoke) mai bharta hai,
Jab hansta hai thahake lagakar, tab bhi
Mann jane kyun yun sisaskta hai?

Aur bhi kavi hain kitne,
Jinke samman mai biche nain hain,
Shabdo ke khel ko samjhe kaun ? yahi soch
Mann jane kyun yun baichain hai ?

MY SPACE
Please give me some space. I am sitting in this deserted room for ages. I don’t even know exactly for how much time I have been sitting here. Wait, am I sitting here? No, I am just standing here. There was a table here when I came here and now that is also getting eaten up by these small creatures. I can’t sit on it as it is very dusty also. But I am not feeling lonely here as there is a portrait of an old man on the front wall. He is in his 80s and staring rightly into my eyes. I am not scared of his eyes. How can I feel scared when I don’t have anything to loose. This old man has a wrinkled skin. His face is full of lines and he has a very lean body. Still his eyes are twinkling like the bright stars in the night. I am still not scared of him. I just want to sit in this room and that should not affect the peace of this gentleman. Now I saw the whole room keeping in mind the stare of the gentleman. This room is neither clean nor dirty and there is a strange smell that is going down my chest as if it belongs to me or my soul. The space I am in search of is still no where although there is nothing there in the room except the old table and the portrait. I took some dust in my hand. That didn’t give me a feeling of my hands being dirty. I like the smell it is causing and the way it sticks to my hand. I took two steps forward towards the portrait of gentleman. Carefully I tried to rub out some dust. This dust is same as the dust in the room with some different smell. Is it because the gentleman is staring at me or because the room was older than the portrait? The Gentleman is still staring at me. Now this staring is attracting me. I hope that this portrait was made by a fine artist who didn’t put his own imagination to mingle the emotion of himself and this gentleman. Now even if I remove the portrait I wouldn’t get a suitable space for me. Actually I need a space to sit calmly. The space that can embrace me in its arms. I don’t want to go out in this cold world. I don’t want to feel the same shivering. I don’t want to leave this room how so ever dirty it is. I am wondering about the space it has already provided me but I want more from it. Now the gentleman is looking at me in a different manner from this corner. It is not the same staring eyes but some sadness is there. Looks like the gentleman is still searching for someone. The person he loved more than his life but there is no one. Why his eyes are still searching for that person.? Did that person ever take care about the way he is looking or he totally ignored him? Now I am feeling towards the gentleman. I know that he has taken my space but after all this is a gentleman’s portrait. I can’t ignore him being the first one here, perhaps even before the old table arrived here. There is something common in his eyes and mine. He is searching for someone not there and my eyes are trying to make a space that is not possible in that room. Both are keen and trying to light a candle in the storm. Both are tired but still struggling to see through the dark. I am not ready to compromise and he is not ready to give up. Both are fighting the lost battle and still consider them as the gladiators. Dust has played its role and there is no tear in his eyes. Looks like he is keeping a promise to be kept. He is not ready to give me space and I will fight till the last breath. One room, one table, one portrait and me. And everyone is fighting for the space. Is this the materialistic world or this is called life. They say life is like a journey. But all of us are stuck in this closed room. No window, no door and no space. Why is this fight what for ? only for the space …or for the Table’s space …or for the dusty space ….or for his space ..or for everyone’s space …everyone is screaming ….shouting without any sound . It is like a silent prayer. But who is going to listen to a table ? or a portrait ? or me ? ..I just want my space ……GIVE ME SPACE ….MY SPACE ……..

One more time it has happened and that too in a span of two weeks time. Again we people were made to feel that we are still living in Third world. When Gibbs does this, it is understandable at a point that his intentions were invoked by the sudden sparkle of the human emotions but when the English actors’ comments slur Shilpa Shetty it totally reflects the common mentality of “whites”. How would they feel if someone from Asia calls them White Pig or Old White Monkey in front of TV camera.
Some people are saying that this is an over reaction as we people must look inside our own nation first then go and face the whole world. But the question arises here - In which part of this world racism is not existing. Even in the most developed nation like USA, blacks are still called niggers. So it can not be said that since we have some conflicts like south versus north, Dalits versus Fair castes or any other thing, we should mould our characters in the clay of bearings. Family matters are the part of every house.
In the present scenario when we talk about the flat world concept and global peace these kinds of incidents reminds the old world, biased towards a particular race. Today when Indira Nooyi is the Pepsi CEO, Muhammad Yunus is winning the Nobel Prize for economics, Boby Jindal is winning elections in US and Chinese economy is becoming the largest one in the world, West must understand that there another world also which can defeat them in any race.
